Green House Bed and Breakfast
Green House Bed and Breakfast is a little bit hard to define: while its facilities are more like a serviced apartment, its atmosphere is more like a luxurious Bangladeshi homestay. The Selina family also live in the property and even shift rooms depending on the number of guests staying there.
The rooms are in fact flats inside a large Gulshan apartment, and that’s why they have a more homely feel than a hotel. There are plenty of opportunities to meet, interact and take meals with the lovely and hospitable hostess, Maya Selina and her son Jewel.
They currently offer ten rooms in three flats to their visiting guests, most of whom are long-term consultants and friends of Green House, especially those who want to have the facilities of an apartment and would love to have the opportunity to interact with a Bangladeshi family. The rooms would be good for travelling couples, single consultants, families or anyone who would rather feel like they’re visiting friends. More privacy is available in one of the flats, and some of the rooms even have private terraces.
The location is excellent – given the nearby Gulshan Lake park and access to all the embassies, development agencies and foreign clubs, Green House is ideal for those who want a more intimate accommodation experience of Bangladesh, and are curious about what life is like inside a Bangladeshi family home.
